2 Hour Snorkeling Tour
This shorter tour focuses on the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, home to the area’s most iconic landmarks.

Pelican Rock offers excellent visibility and calm conditions, making it perfect for both beginners and confident snorkelers. Expect 45 to 60 minutes in the water surrounded by colorful fish and coral formations.
The rest of the tour is spent cruising the bay while your guide shares insights on Cabo San Lucas history, local wildlife, and interesting facts about the region.
4 Hour Snorkeling Tour
The 4-hour adventure includes everything in the shorter tour and extends the journey to visit two of the most beautiful bays in Baja California Sur.

The boat ride to the snorkeling sites lasts about 30 to 40 minutes and offers incredible views of the coastline. Wildlife sightings may include: dolphins, mobula rays, mantas, sea turtles, and early-season humpback whales (October onward). You will always see the California sea lion colony, one of Cabo’s most famous wildlife encounters.
OPTIONAL: During both tours, guests can upgrade to a scuba diving experience. First-time divers, beginners, and certified divers are all welcome to explore the waters of Los Cabos with professional guidance.
Best Time to Go Snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas
Early departures usually offer the calmest water and best visibility for snorkeling. Both the 2-hour and 4-hour tours are available throughout the day and include snorkeling in the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, Santa Maria Bay, or Chileno Bay depending on the option you choose.
Optional Add-On: Scuba diving for first-timers and certified divers is available upon request.
Where Do We Meet for the Snorkeling Tour?
We will meet at the CaboTrek office 15 minutes before the time of your tour. While in the shop, we’ll process your payment or revise your reservation, allow you time to shop around our storefront for souvenirs and read up on some of the educational activities you’ll be partaking in that day. We offer free wi-fi, cookies, water before everyone is ready to head to the dock. Then we’ll take a quick 1-minute walk from the shop to the dock. There you’ll board our boat, put on your life vests, be given a complimentary water bottle, and finally, set out on your diving adventure!
How Big Are the Groups for This Tour?
This snorkeling tour runs with small groups of up to 8 guests, even though the boat can accommodate up to 18 people.
